Hang on though, wasn’t it “the end” when it was “shut down” circa 2009 and when ISP’s began blocking TPB, it now being “available” again at a series of endlessly switching proxies?
“Internet service providers (ISPs) such as Sky and Virgin Media are attempting to clamp down on torrent sites such as Pirate Bay. Customers found users of these sites will be issued a warning saying they have 20 days to stop downloading content illegally. The warnings are part of the government-backed Get It Right campaign , which is attempting to educate web users about the dangers of piracy. ‘Copyright owners are monitoring peer-to-peer (file-sharing) networks to identify instances where their content is uploaded and shared without permission,’ states the campaign. … ‘The account holder may then receive an Educational Email from their ISP referencing one or more instances of peer-to-peer uploading and file sharing activities that have been confirmed to breach copyright.’”
But—as it seemingly suggests— actually do bugger all after unless you are a major sharer but likely giving some poor shy, introverted chaps a case of the running trots and prolonged sense that Windows 10 is Big Brotherly watching them ever after.
But, hypocrisy of those that claim they wouldn’t and don’t aside, do those pirates in the bay really do it as share-for-share sake for the benefit of man and woman kind or is it ad-revenue they hope to mount on the copyright infringing poop deck being downloading from?

Bill Paxton dead at 61: Aliens and Titanic actor passes away “from surgery complications” (mirror.co.uk).
“American actor Bill Paxton—a Hollywood mainstay who was one of the biggest film stars of the 1990s—has died aged 61 due to complications from surgery. The star—best known for his roles in hit films such as Aliens, Apollo 13, Twister and Titanic - died suddenly on Saturday. His family announced his death in a statement released on Sunday and described him as a ‘beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker’ whose ‘’illustrious career’ spanned four decades.”
