Indeed, because every site needs one now, and perhaps rightly so.

No cookies
This website itself does not give cookies for regular, non-administrative visitors and the only data it collects is within logs files as all websites do in a standardised format according to server software and these log file are not publicly accessible, and frankly not of much particular interest to me. Votes in polls are registered with the same data collected by log file.
However, embedded video clips are often included with stories in Blog and Latest Picks from video share sites such as YouTube, DailyMotion and such like, and these embedded elements often do set their own cookies, although a “no cookie option” is chosen if available from privacy options.
Ad and tracker free
No sort of data analysis or mining is conducted, which is helped by the site being ad free and free from SEO analytic and social media trackers.
