Here’s my grab-bag pick of the best illustration inspiring celebrity gossip, scandals, arts, entertainment, & just plain quirky stories & picture sexiness. A round-up for busy pervs. There’s pictures—reading optional.
Disclaimer: Any comments I make are purely satirical, totally without foundation, and I bet more than a fair few of those Kardashian-Jenner Korps critical curmudgeons and termagants would suck a nutrient Sugarbear or at least a Werther’s Original if offered endorsement opportunity too while appraising the pictorial moral turpitude they are looking at.

Arts, culture, tech. & funnies
Again examining the implications of for work, society and sex the introductions of increasingly life-like robots may have—and perhaps sooner than some may choose to think:
A 42-year-old product and graphic designer—and modern day Pygmalion—builds “Scarlett Johansson” robot from scratch to “fulfil childhood dream” which is apparently the “new manufacturing” to help people do high risk work, climb high mountains and descend deep oceans to realise world adventure, but indeed, you can hump “her” too, robotically or otherwise.
With such Westworld way of coming things making you wonder what customisation options could soon be on offer if RealDoll are only a programmable prosthetic skip and jump from AI.

Four in ten Brits don’t like or understand Shakespeare (telegraph.co.uk).
“He may be the crowning jewel in Britain’s cultural crown, with commemorative events to mark to the 400th anniversary of his death dominating museums, galleries, television and theatre for months. But British people understand and like the works of William Shakespeare significantly less than those abroad, a survey has shown.”
But with those in India, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, South Africa and China holding the Bard in greater esteem, is the “economic boost” trumping any moral, ethical or existential pathos by which his worth is justified the real capitalist tempest Prospero, the sorcerous rightful Duke of Milan, actually brought forth and left us with?
And, if that’s the case, should we not be insisting Prince and Duchess of whom those States-side are infatuated actually did indeed graduate from even the Bard usurping thaumaturge Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, Gryffindor or Hufflepuff?

Lost Caravaggio masterpiece worth £100m found in a sealed attic in Toulouse (independent.co.uk).
“A painting found in a leaky attic in Toulouse has been provisionally identified as a lost masterpiece by late 16th-century Italian painter Caravaggio worth an estimated €120m (£95.7m). A French art expert said he believed that the bloody biblical scene was Caravaggio’s Judith Beheading Holofernes, painted in the early 17th century and lost a century later. … The large painting was discovered two years ago in a sealed attic in the South-western French city when the house owners were searching for the source of a leak in the roof.”
A lucky find indeed on a rainy day, but although unsigned and authenticity uncertain, if genuine—or perhaps even not—does a look at poor Holofernes’ anguished but extremely detailed face add painterly weight to the hypotheses that Caravaggio and other masters of his era made use of the camera obscura?

For sure, FBI didn’t need Apple to bend over to core roger it’s devices encryption after all, being able to pick up a device that could do it for them at a FoneFun shop for a ton score (Latest picks 18th Feb. 2016, updated 6th Apr. 2016), but have other devices encryption been compromised by surveillancing powers that be for some time longer?
“Canadian police have been in possession of a BlackBerry master encryption key since 2010, according to a pair of blockbuster reports today from Vice News and its sister site Motherboard. The reports say the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) used the key in a criminal investigation between 2010 and 2012 to intercept over 1 million BlackBerry messages sent using its proprietary BBM service. … It’s unclear how the RCMP obtained the key … [but] documents now confirm police keep a server in Ottawa to ‘simulates a mobile device that receives a message intended for [the rightful recipient],’ Vice reports. From there, the ‘BlackBerry interception and processing system’ decrypts the message using the master key.”
Indicative of more terrorist presense in the Big Country than suspected or just that meth-moving biker gangs at war preferred the Berry? And if Mounties got the master key from an uncertain source who else may have too?
Recent/related stories:
“Mozilla released details about the Tofino project Friday, saying a six-person team at Mozilla will consider how to radically revamp Web browsers. … Instead of using the core tech of Firefox, called Gecko, Tofino uses an outside project called Electron built on Google Chrome’s foundation called Chromium. That would be as surprising as Apple testing new iPhone interface ideas by using the Android software from archrival Google instead of its own iOS.
“Mozilla is still staunchly backing Firefox and its core technology. But the fact that the Tofino team decided it could work faster with Electron shows how hard it is to keep up with Chrome, which is worrisome for Firefox’s future.”
Is Chrome a better browser though—which adoption of Chromium, the open-source web browser project from which Google Chrome draws its source code seems to suggest—or just a lesser funded free-software community project no longer getting revenue for having Google set as default search engine realising its limitations to the de facto name or recommendation for browser?

“Google became one of the most powerful companies on the planet by addressing a once-in-a-generation problem: Make it easy for people to search for stuff online. Now it’s the one doing the searching—for the next big thing.
“Alphabet, Google’s parent company, is hard at work tinkering with a sweep of projects, from Wi-Fi-connected thermostats to nanoparticles for detecting cancer. That kind of experimentation isn’t cheap or quick. Sales from those projects, which Alphabet calls ‘Other Bets,’ brought in $166 million last quarter, up from $80 million a year earlier. But losses from those experiments widened to $802 million last quarter from $633 million this time last year. Normally that wouldn’t matter much, but pressure is sure to mount after the company’s disappointing earnings report on Thursday. CEO Larry Page missed Wall Street’s targets on both sales and profit. ”
A desire if not yet an actual need to autocomplete with “Other bets” letters found in Alphabet soup that are invariably not as safe and ad-wordedly captive audience simple a one that puts investors off, but does their “other bets” world-changing “don’t be evil” idealism still pretty much amount to providing developing nations with lack of sufficient sanitation or drinkable water recommendation searchable internet access so they can receive targeted ads for Calvin Kleins on their net-connected phone too?
