Rihanna tops Forbes rich list thanks to Fenty make-up (bbc.co.uk).
The singer is the richest female musician in the world according to Forbes’ annual rich list.
Not bad considering fans are eagerly awaiting a new album (capitalxtra.com, Mar. 2019), having not released an album in three years—although the unreleased and unauthorised Angel (rollingstone.com, Mar. 2019) and Boom were well enough received—but the 31-year-old’s rich list listing is more due to the branding being the Highest Streamed Female Artist (nme.com, Mar. 2018) has granted:
RiRi has an estimated fortune of $600m (£471m) with the bulk of that coming from her [Savage X] Fenty beauty range.
She’s overtaken Madonna and Beyonce, who previously topped the list.
The beauty industry estimated globally to be worth $480bn (£377bn) as kind to RiRi as to youngest “self-made” billionaire Kylie Jenner (related stories below).
