“David Cassidy, who came to fame as a ’70s teen heartthrob and lead singer on ‘The Partridge Family,’ has died, according to his publicist Jo-Ann Geffen. He was 67.”
With it reported that he was admitted to intensive care in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in critical condition and suffering from organ failure days previous, suggesting his passing was imminent.

His father being famed actor and singer Jack Cassidy, and his mother actress Evelyn Ward.
“In 1970, Cassidy began playing the role of Keith Partridge on the musical sitcom ‘The Partridge Family.’”
Who elder relatives may have had heaving bosoms for should they have felt affiliation with Cassidy and Partridge Family rather than The Osmonds, or perhaps even The Bay City Rollers. But recent years had not been kind to the former boyish heartthrob and he had “hit some low points and ended up in rehab in 2014 after his third arrest for driving under the influence” and filed for bankruptcy in 2015, and in early 2017 he revealed he was in the early stages of dementia.
