Whatever’s on my mind really.

A peek at illustration inspiring celebrity sexiness, quirky news stories from inherently pornified pop culture, tips, sketchbook and work in progress, reviews and other things of interest; whatever’s on my mind really—which more fool you if you ever take that seriously.

Latest Picks is a sort of mini-blog for daily thoughts and picks. Longer articles, stories & sketches are found in the full-size blog, where indeed Latest Picks are moved when updates to a story make it too large.

Note: Both Latest Picks and Blog are to be retired at the end of September, although both will remain available indefinitely as an archived part of the site. No further updates to past stories will be made.

That’s truly scary! Costume company releases a SEXY “Fake News” outfit for Halloween (dailymail.co.uk).

But perhaps not as scary as news stories condensed into headline with nothing more read and cherry picking of said headline stories which support particular belief and blame, which has made simplistic “fake news”—or the blaming of and defining as fake any that does not cast in a good light—more appealing.

“Whether you like it or not here is no denying that ‘fake news’ has become one of the biggest buzz terms of 2017. So it’s no surprise that companies are finding a way to make a buck off the back of its widespread notoriety, including one with a holiday twist. Yandy, the online retailer known for its ridiculous ‘sexy’ versions of costumes, has come up with a ‘fake news’ Halloween outfit. Unsurprisingly, it is also fairly risque.”

Well, if tight and short are really that “risqué” these days.

“The costume, which is comprised of a minidress with a newspaper print and a stamp reading ‘FAKE,’ is on sale for $55. The description for the product online reads: ‘Spread all the alternative facts in this exclusive Fake News costume featuring a white tank dress with a scoop neckline, thick shoulder straps, an allover newspaper design, ‘FAKE’ printed in red across the bust, and a scoop back.’ The outfit has since gone viral on social media, and generally speaking people are less than impressed. ”

“Less than impressed” with the concept of “fake news” rather than with the costume idea, which many saw as inevitable.

To be a sexy fake news girl or not, that is the question
