Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher suffers cardiac arrest on flight (mirror.co.uk).
“Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher has reportedly suffered a massive heart attack while flying from London to Los Angeles. Passengers performed CPR on the 60-year-old after she went into cardiac arrest on the flight, TMZ reported. … She is understood to be in critical condition.”

“Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement on behalf of Carrie’s daughter, Billie Lourd, which confirmed the tragic news. ‘It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning.’”

“Debbie Reynolds, the Oscar-nominated singer and actress, died on Wednesday shortly after saying she wanted to be with her daughter Carrie Fisher. … Reynolds, 84, a leading lady in Hollywood musicals and comedies including Singin’ in the Rain, passed away hours after being rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke, her son, Todd Fisher, said. ‘She’s now with Carrie and we're all heartbroken,’ he said from the hospital.”
