And with Demi cancelled remaining dates on her tour and to “stay in rehab for months” as she “focuses on herself” (metro.co.uk).
DEMI LOVATO OD LIKELY TRIGGERED BY OXY LACED WITH FENTANYL (tmz.com).
Sources with direct knowledge tell us, Demi had been at a party in WeHo following a birthday celebration at Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. After the drug dealer got the text, he came to her house and we’re told the 2 of them freebased Oxycodone on tin foil.
But that said dealer “had a bad habit of buying dirty drugs from Mexico” and it’s likely it was laced with fentanyl, which caused fatal overdoses for both Lil Peep (Blog 16th Nov. 2017) and Prince (Latest Picks 21st Apr. 2016).

DEMI LOVATO ALLEGED DEALER BUSTED WITH GUNS AND DRUGS … months before OD (tmz.com).
And named too.
Brandon Johnson was arrested back in March with a stash of guns, drugs and cash … according to law enforcement. When cops picked him up in North Hollywood he allegedly had narcotics, a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun and $10k in his pocket.
And had she fallen for this bad boy, with “a source” connected to said dealer saying he was in a “romantic relationship” with Demi but others saying there was no relationship.

And TMZ finally cornering him for his say:
DEMI LOVATO drug dealer says she knew taking ‘aftermarket’ pills were risky (tmz.com).
The man who supplied Demi Lovato with drugs the night she OD’d said she knew exactly the chance she was taking … that she was ingesting “aftermarket pills,” which made things risky.
“Aftermarket pills” meaning pharmaceuticals altered or laced in some way or completely synthesized off the market. Demi Lovato reportedly took ‘aftermarket pills’: Here’s what that means (aol.com).

With drug dealer Brandon Johnson now a wanted man for a no show for prior cocaine possession and DUI charge in June (dailymail.co.uk, Sept. 2018):
Demi Lovato ‘will stay in treatment for the rest of 2018’ as she takes ‘sobriety extremely seriously’ (metro.co.uk).
A “source” saying:
“Demi is doing this for herself. She has to stay sober for her, but every time she has family or friends visit her it reminds her of all the other important people in her life that she needs to fight for as well.”

Demi Lovato splitting time between halfway house and L.A. home (tmz.com).
We’re told Demi feels the need to spend a big chunk of her time at a sober house—3 days a week—where there are counselors and people with whom she can relate and share experiences. At the same time, she wants to resume a normal life and decided to live 4 days a week in a private home.
With “a sober coach by her side 24/7” and regular attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings but did break her several-month long hiatus from social media—likely good for anyone’s health—to show herself voting in midterm elections and encourage fans to also.
And with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama continuing to give his support:
Demi Lovato: Wilmer playing major role in keeping her sober (tmz.com).
Our sources say the two talk several times a week and meet up as well … but it’s nothing romantic, simply a supportive friendship.

As for those seemingly lacking in their support:
Demi Lovato unfollows Nick Jonas & Selena Gomez on Instagram to ‘avoid difficult relationships’ (capitalfm.com).
A source revealed Demi has done it to “focus on herself” and “avoid any difficult relationships”. They added, “She needs to surround herself with those that support her goals and to stay away from any negativity.”
“Difficult relationships” seemingly going hand-in-hand with Demi’s now married, older-women liking (Blog, updated 18th Aug. 2018) former BFF the youngest of the Jonas brothers, but SelGo? Well, it seems she has her own problems at the moment which has kept her away from Instagram since mid-September (Latest Picks 11th Oct. 2018), with many suggesting a much longer vacation from invariably unsocial media might suit Demi’s recovery too.

But social media, today an essential part of celebrity publicity, seemingly can only be avoided for so long:
Demi Lovato breaks silence over drug overdose and friend betrayal (mirror.co.uk).
Demi Lovato said she is “sober and grateful to be alive” as she asked for “time to heal” during her recovery from an overdose.
While also taking a shot at tabloids, “sources” often quoted indeed, an individual who seemingly clicked the “story to sell?” links many display at the bottom of a celeb story:
She said: “I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.”
Thought to be referring to one of her backup dancers, Dani Vitale, who feed said eager tabloids and, as Demi said addressing a fan over the matter “True friends don't do interviews about you when you OD”.
