Congratulations, Carina. While I may question her claim about it not “looking for the girl with the pretty face” I certainly do not find her title is incompatible with feminism either; after all, wasn’t Cleopatra celebrated not only for her beauty but for her intelligence and astute political nous too? Is it not the epitome of sexual equality to be free to represent yourself however you damn well wish in society and take full advantage of all you may have been given? Certainly if what is being voted for is not padding in place of policy, leading on to…

It would be so easy to just vote for them; perhaps Ukip’s Nigal “I’ve a popularist knob” Farage’s “political earthquake” was really just that with no real political resolutions to offer voters, a pair of soft puppies, a seat in the beer garden and the flogging of a benefit claiming immigrant are all political parties have left to offer UK voters.

Man arrested over Karen Danczuk abuse claim (independent.co.uk).
“A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with sex abuse allegations made by Karen Danczuk. … Ms Danczuk waived her right to anonymity in a front-page interview with The Sun last week and also told the Mail on Sunday that she had reported her alleged attacker to police.”
Well done, Karen.
Labour’s deputy leader Harriet Harman said “I’m too pretty for politics and should be in Girls Aloud” says Karen Danczuk (telegraph.co.uk).
But Harriet “I never had any PIE” Harman (dailymail.co.uk, Mar. 2014) denied that too:
“I deny I ever said that and it’s inconceivable I would have ever said that.”
This was of course in the skid marks of Harriet Harman’s #pinkbus, her plan to bring women back into Labour with a man with a feminine coloured not-white van—with Mother Nature gifting tampons (GoogleTube) out the back no doubt.
Councillor Karen “I’m putting my puppies in a cup” Danczuk was not that perturbed:
“I never thought bad of Harriet saying that to me. However I am now sad to hear that she is denying it when it is the truth. Maybe she had forgotten that she had said that to me. I stand by what I said. It’s the truth. I have no reason to lie.”

The anology is that by participating in the hyper-connected society that is the internet we have little to no clue as to how much af ourself—beyond what we see in a selfie—we are actually revealling; it could be asked though in this hyper-connected exhibitionist society how many would readily reveal more wearing it.
