Speculation is it was part protest at Instagram’s censors suspending her account for showing her bum. She had tweeted her support for Scout Willis, the 22-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, who staged a topless protest in New York having been banned from Instagram for showing nawty parts too.

Scout however, while wishing to #FreeTheNipple seemed to wish to distance nudity and sexualisation and point finger at those “degrading” what they liked the look of, perhaps missing the point somewhat as to why Instagrams TOS can permit boobage sans-nipple but not allow that which could be mistaken, erroneous of course, for soft porn when women not breastfeeding babies decide to Instagram theirs in situations that would soon be far removed from examining for lumps. That’s a slipperly slope MySpace’s Tom was certainly not to be keen to slide down too.
Me? I’m certainly totally up for her exposing her titties any time, any where she pleases—and perhaps it’s time to stop demonising anyone who expresses their pleasure at said #FreedNipples too.

Ah! Poetic…. You may—but it seems some didn’t —realise it’s the same point I was making with Scout‘s boobaging bluster.
Oh, except that it’s making me agree with Lily Allen as to “whom the nipple enemy is!” (Pick of the Week, 12th March).
Earlier in the week, RiRi had had a run in with the the tiger-blood dripping teeth of Charlie “she’s no longer a porn star, she’s with me now” Sheen.

Ouch! Those curses come like an Affliction Warlock’s DOT stack, when Mr. Sheen’s angry scrim is out, begging one to wonder if he only thought such after refusal. Bearing in mind Charlie Sheen’s alleged long history of violence toward women (jezebel.com) and RiRi’s own experience with the Difficult Brown (dailymail.co.uk), I though her initial “there were too many paps outside” excuse was diplomatic—despite being famous she doesn’t have to like somebody after all, but he pushed her to PvP:

TMZ of course tried to stir the cauldron with emphasis on her “old queen” retort, but I can see in the comments I was not the only one who took it to refer to “drama”. :)

Trivia: French Post-Impressionist Paul Gauguin was paid by Van Gogh’s brother Theo consented to work and live side-by-side in Arles with Van Gogh, and Van Gogh severed his ear after a quarrel, feeling an increasing fear that Gauguin was going to desert him. While alive, his work was known to only a handful of people and appreciated by fewer still.

The theories run thick and fast there; what is the real score? Was it worry independent security testing underway would actually find a flaw or have they done a Lavabit after NSA pressure and given a dead canary? Hmmmm… TrueCrypt is Not Secure As…. Steganographic curtain call or smoke and mirrors?
As suggested, it is likely the last version, 7.1a, is… well, as safe and secure or insecure as it was back then and is still downloadable. You can grab the Truecrypt User Guide here if you still plan to use it (PDF file, mia-net.org).

Okay, first off, lets get the anally retentive bit out of the way—it’s not a virus it’s a trojan: The difference between a computer virus, worm and trojan horse (webopedia.com).
Does that make much difference to anybody? No, not really—except for when you are calling the bluff on some cheeky chap trying to tell female visitors in some sordid chatroom or forum that he has infected them with something and unless…—but what does is that the two viri botnet trojans in question are not actually new—indeed, CryptoLocker has already featured in Pick of the Week back in Oct. 2013—and if you are still open to attack it should certainly be advised that no one stick their stick in any of your systems orifices.
What is new is that the command and control severs of the cyber-gang running the thing, which has stolen millions worldwide, have been shut down, but that it is estimated it will take them only a few weeks to relocate, so if you have miraculously evaded getting something nasty without malware protection so far, then it’s as good a time as any to warn you to do so. You can even get some for free—but make sure it is reputable, it’s a particularly frequent old scam for an infected site you may visit that suggests you have something nasty already to promise to protect you while actually infecting you.

Again though, remember there is a particular old scam where telephone “help” at [insert] informs someone their system is infected and that they need to vist a site and download software to remove it (blogs.msdn.com). Needless to say, they will certainly have something after.

As the world—except China—looks back on the Tiananmen Square protests 25th anniversary, some wonder what happened to the iconic but anonymous Tank Man (thejournal.ie).

I think why he is so iconic and universal is that we have all been—or can imagine being—at that point in the road in our life where despite the danger and seeming fatalism, and despite choice to move aside, we stand our ground for what we believe.
