Amazon’s Jeff Bezos says National Enquirer is blackmailing him with nude photos (cnet.com).

Indeed, probably not the leaks those waiting for the first Fappening update of the year bar brown eye of a Belgian gymnast are hoping for.

Jeff Bezos alleged Thursday that “top people” at The National Enquirer tried to blackmail him by threatening to publish nude photos unless the Amazon chief ended an investigation into how the publication obtained text messages between him and his girlfriend.

Said “top people” of National Enquirer publisher American Media Inc. seemingly keen to pull rug back over how the Enquirer was the first to print details of the world’s richest Prime delivery man affair with former entertainment TV host Lauren Sanchez which led to the end of his 25-year marriage and likely the halving of his fortune after divorce, the couple having not signed a prenup (businessinsider.com, Jan. 2019) and with Bezos including email exchanges that he says proves the extortion attempt in a personal blog post.

According to one email, the photos include “a naked selfie [of Bezos] in a bathroom—while wearing a wedding ring” and a “glimpse” of Sanchez’s “nether region,” among others.

With Bezos deciding to shed light on the blackmail attempt rather than capitulate:

“Rather than capitulate to extortion and blackmail, I’ve decided to publish exactly what they sent me, despite the personal cost and embarrassment they threaten,” Bezos wrote in the post…

And the demand to avoid further expose of their “nether region” being to make “false statements” that AMI was never “politically motivated or influenced by political forces” according to the blog post, with Bezoz as the owner of the Washington Post being a fervent critic of Orange Don and CEO of AMI David Pecker having recently struck an immunity deal with the Justice Department to reveal the president’s role in hush-money agreements with women ahead of the 2016 US election which resulted in admittance that they “worked in concert” with the Trump campaign to pay off former Playboy model Karen McDougal and quash the “fake” story, a process it terms “catch-and-kill”.

Representatives for AMI didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

And despite AMI finally responding to Bezos exposing Pecker, headlines continued to focus on where the real story which exasperatingly for both sides of divided America still refuses to be either caught or killed:

Jeff Bezos ‘blackmail’ claim puts focus on National Enquirer links to Trump (theguardian.com).

Pecker is the chief executive of American Media Inc (AMI), which said on Friday that it “acted lawfully” in its reporting on Bezos and that it would “thoroughly investigate” his claims of blackmail and take “whatever appropriate action is necessary”.

With “appropriate action” perhaps in store for Pecker with The Current Bun headline seemingly hoping to line up cocks for comparison:

PECKER EXPOSED: National Enquirer boss David Pecker faces jail after ‘threatening’ to expose Jeff Bezos’s penis sexts (thesun.co.uk).

Prosecutors are probing whether or not Pecker’s National Enquirer violated a court deal by allegedly threatening to release photos of Amazon boss Bezos’s penis.

With a former prosecutor saying: “If a federal crime is determined to have occurred, then AMI and Mr Pecker have a real problem on their hands.” And with it all reminding that nothing good for anybody seemingly came from helping Orange Don get to eat cheeseburgers and Tweet in that “Executive Time” in the White House his schedule is heavy on (axios.com).

And with Amazon investigators on the case like a Prime delivery Pinkerton:

As questions linger around Jeff Bezos’ explosive suggestions, identity of tabloid leaker is confirmed (cnn.com).

The brother of the woman with whom Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was in a relationship was the person who tipped off the National Enquirer to their relationship, two people with knowledge of the matter confirmed to CNN on Wednesday.

Michael being a Hollywood agent and The Daily Beast reporting soon after that he had been passing information to the Enquirer about his Hollywood clients for years (thedailybeast.com).

Of course:

Michael Sanchez declined on Wednesday to provide CNN an on-the-record comment about whether he was the leaker. He previously denied to The Washington Post playing a role in leaking details about the relationship between Bezos and his sister, and told The New York Post he would not dignify such allegations with a response.

But The Daily Beast also publishing a conclusion reached by a security consultant hired by Bezos which alleges that Michael Sanchez is a patsy for Saudi Arabia who hacked Bezos’s phone (thedailybeast.com, Mar. 2019), which is now backed up by a story in The Grauniad:

Jeff Bezos hack: Amazon boss’s phone ‘hacked by Saudi crown prince’ (theguardian.com).

The Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos had his mobile phone “hacked” in 2018 after receiving a WhatsApp message that had apparently been sent from the personal account of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, sources have told the Guardian.

With a malicious video file of waving flags with seemingly sophisticated custom made malware (nytimes.com) sent during a “friendly WhatsApp exchange” which had his iPhone X catch a digital dose which resulted in large amounts of data exfiltrated from Bezos’s phone within hours, with the suggestion that the intention was intimidation of Bezos, the owner of the Washington Post as part of a crackdown on critics and rivals, with a Saudi journalist of the paper murdered and likely dismembered in the Saudi embassy in Turkey towards the end that year (thisisnocave.blogspot.com, Oct. 2018), although the “ friendly WhatsApp exchange” is said to have taken place in March, months before the murder:

It may also lead to renewed scrutiny about what the crown prince and his inner circle were doing in the months prior to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post journalist who was killed in October 2018—five months after the alleged “hack” of the newspaper’s owner.
