Suge Knight got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton, ran over a man who later died, and then fled the scene.
Multiple witnesses tell us a commercial shoot for a movie—involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre—was going down when Suge pulled up in his car. We’re told security told Suge to leave and that’s when trouble began.

“Both Terry Carter and Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan were reportedly struck by Knight’s red Ford pickup during a heated altercation. According to police reports, Knight ‘aimed his car’ at nemesis Bone, 55, and accidentally ran over his friend Carter in the process. Sloan suffered severe injuries, while 51-year-old Carter’s injuries were fatal.”
Sounds like some old “laundry” (eonline.com, Jul. 1997) was still causing a stink. Then again, he was shot six times at a West Hollywood nightclub last time he “got reacquainted”.

No, he wasn’t “duelling” but there was certainly a beef which seems to be begining to make it sound like a scene from Pulp Fiction:
“The fatal run-in occurred a short while after Knight was told by deputies to leave a film location where he had argued with someone, authorities said. The cast and crew were taking a break from filming a promotional video for the biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ … [and] the argument resumed and escalated a short while later at a fast-food restaurant about two miles away, with Knight and the man exchanging punches through his open window. Knight then struck the man and a friend with his vehicle and fled, said sheriff’s Lt. John Corina.”

“In the latest conspiracy linked to him, Knight (Marion Hugh Knight Jr.) claims that Dre (Andre Romelle Young) plotted with a former detective in a plot to kill him. In court documents, obtained by TMZ, Thaddeus Culpepper, Suge's lawyer, alleges that sheriff’s deputy Henry Boyd was working at the 1OAK club in West Hollywood when he let the shooter inside the club. Surveillance video has allegedly corroborated with the assertion that Boyd let the gunman in shortly before shots were fired. Although he made a full recovery, Knight suspects he was never meant to make it out alive. Legal documents purport that the shooter confessed to Dre paying him and a friend $50,000 (£35,000) to take Knight’s life. In a bizarre twist—the sheriff’s department then released the shooter from custody.”

Suge Knight pleads no contest to manslaughter, faces 28 years in prison for 2015 hit-and-run (cnn.com).
Knight, 53, is scheduled to be sentenced October 4 and in exchange for his plea, prosecutors are calling for a sentence of 28 years in prison.
So no more secret meetings with Tupac in hiding in Cuba as his British bodyguard who helped him actually escape on that fateful night in Vegas claimed yesterday (thesun.co.uk).
