Parabéns! Indianara Carvalho crowned Miss Bumbum Brazil 2014 (latinacelebdigest.blogspot.co.uk).
“Indianara Carvalho, the 22-year-old representing Santa Catarina state was crowned Miss BumBum Brazil 2014 in São Paulo.”
With favourite to win, Cláudia Alende, representing Paraná state awarded the much coveted second place; previous years’ runners up have achieved greater fame than the actual winners.
But again, a bit of a rumpas was caused over alleged vote rigging.
Miss BumBum contestant disqualified for “rigging voting” in Brazilian beauty contest says officials tried to extort money from HER in return for letting her win (dailymail.co.uk).
“Livia Santos was disqualified from the competition, which took place on Monday, for allegedly hacking the voting process. Ms Santos, a finalist and firm favourite, claims she did not hack the system—but simply had her husband hire people to vote for her.”
There you go, it was all just confusion over semantics, she didn’t “hack”, who knew you couldn’t just pay people to vote for you.
“Ms Santos then claimed she had been approached by Miss BumBum judges who had offered to help her win in exchange for money”
She did not suggest where perhaps the money she was to give them was to be held while they voted.
