American Apparel puts Merkins on mannequins in NYC for Valentine’s Day (avn.com).
“American Apparel is a company that celebrates natural beauty, and the Lower East Side Valentine’s Day window continues that celebration. We created it to invite passerby’s [sic] to explore the idea of what is ‘sexy’ and consider their comfort with the natural female form.”
Indeed, “considering that in porn, there’s a whole fetish genre devoted to ‘hair,’ most of which centers on pubic hair“ is American Apparel’s window display fantasy fulfillment for more than bush-munching New Yorkers?

Porn shoot has University of West of England planning legal action (avn.com).
“The video was apparently shot using several locations on the campus. ‘In it,’ reports the Post, ‘a man wanders around the campus among unwitting students telling the viewer he is looking for a girl who wants to earn some money and have some fun.’”
A UK adaptation of those popular Czech girls sex for money porn videos I guess, and with the girl I suspect not actually being a registed student, perhaps legal woes may have been averted if the Dean had been invited to splooge her a facial load first.

Photo of Russian socialite posing on Allen Jones black woman bondage chair causes mighty offence (telegraph.co.uk).
FashionBombDaily cited billionaire Roman Abramovich’s 25-year-old squeeze partner Dasha Zhukova seated on it as an example of “white dominance and superiority, articulated in a seemingly serene yet overtly degrading way”, which is certainly an interpretation, but it seems the writer dug a little deeper later, discovering Allen Jones’ bondage chairs were not limited to women of a darker hue and updated:
“Apparently white strippers were put in compromising positions as well.”
But curiously they seemed only to deserve the derogatively-put “stripper” appellation instead.

Dutch artist Diddo sculpts life-size human skull from cocaine (independent.co.uk).
“I don’t feel obliged to educate people on the potential dangers of drugs, … in ‘Ecce Animal’, the cocaine is used in combination with a symbol of mortality and, therefore, quite directly relates to danger.”
And as dictated by Freud‘s conflicted Eros and Thanatos (wikipedia.org) in his “Beyond the Pleasure Principle” its effects on the arts irresistibly spiral through the same whirl of love and despair as the imbiber, and as a subject for the arts, like sex, danger sells of course.
Is Diddo making a distinction with the title—Ecce Animal— rather than Ecce homo (“Behold the man”) or….

Google Glass app promises a vicarious view to spice up your sex life (uk.msn.com).
“A new app called Sex With Glass is promising to steam up the spectacles of Glass wearers worldwide, as it allows wearers to see what their partner sees when they’re making love.”
Despite Google’s “no porn on Glass” pledge and the assumption there it will be the sexual partner viewing, I think the streaming POV potential there edges closer to being its real killer app—sign up here to watch a live POV butt-fuck of [insert porn star name].

“Most hated man on the internet” arrested in revenge porn hacking case (wired.co.uk).
“…27-year-old Hunter Moore … branded the most hated man on the internet … was arrested on federal charges claiming that he paid a man to break into the e-mail accounts of hundreds of victims and steal sexually explicit images that later showed up on Moore’s notorious isanyoneup.com site.”
Although he openly mocking the people whose nude pictures appeared on the site, its branding as “revenge porn” was as much to place it in that “popular” genre with much content hacked from victims emails as submitted by those ”getting even” after rejection to provide content for an enterprise which at its peak “received about 30 million page views a month, allowing it to generate about $10,000 (£6,000) per month in ad revenue.”
Updated 26th February 2015.
Owner of [similar] revenge porn site asks Google to remove links to his own photos (telegraph.co.uk).
“[Craig] Brittain, 28, who lives in Colorado, founded the now-defunct site Isanybodydown.com in 2011. He boasted that his site offered ‘a higher level of hatred’ than its ‘competitors’ and who posted photos of over 1,000 people. He … paid up to $100 (£60) for photos and charged up to $500 to people wanting to have them removed.
“Brittain is unhappy with [various news organisations] use of his photos with his permission and has sent a Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) take down to Google objecting to 23 articles remaining in their search rankings. ”
Updated 21st October 2014.
People who post “revenge porn” on internet could face two years in jail with new law in the UK (Pick of the Week 21st Oct. 2014).

On that page, users can check out Dotcom’s electronic dance music album Good Times, but they could also check it out on the file sharing service here (uploaded.net) Cover preview (is rabox.com). Oh, the irony!

And lastly likely the most ridiculous story of the year already.
Charles Saatchi, 70, challenged The Spectator columnist Taki Theodoracopulos, 77, to a cage fight! (dailymail.co.uk).
“People tell me that in your unreadable column you also like to brag that you are a Black Belt at karate. Well, me too, old boy. But apparently your ‘fights’ are genteel affairs, against other soppy geriatrics rolling around the floor in crisp white outfits, in some bit of judokai nonsense. Mine take place in cages, 20 feet square, unofficial little events with no gloves, no rules, and the loser being carried out, usually battered to bits. You will understand why I laughed out loud at your schoolyard boast that I should try throttling a real hard case like you.”
Taki displayed the same curmudgeon belligerency in his reply:
“I am 77 years old, 5ft 9in and weigh 185lbs … I am willing to face him any time under cage-fighting non-rules, which will be a first for me. I need three days’ notice”
Ohhh, behave!
