Whatever’s on my mind really.

A peek at illustration inspiring celebrity sexiness, quirky news stories from inherently pornified pop culture, tips, sketchbook and work in progress, reviews and other things of interest; whatever’s on my mind really—which more fool you if you ever take that seriously.

Latest Picks is a sort of mini-blog for daily thoughts and picks. Longer articles, stories & sketches are found in the full-size blog, where indeed Latest Picks are moved when updates to a story make it too large.

Note: Both Latest Picks and Blog are to be retired at the end of September, although both will remain available indefinitely as an archived part of the site. No further updates to past stories will be made.

I would love to be able to say I don’t see a link but: Corbyn says it would have been better if Jihadi John had been put on trial (thisisnocave.blogspot.co.uk).

Although…

Retired U.S. intelligence officer believes Paris attacks not a retaliation for “Jihadi John” killing (video, globalnews.ca).

“Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer told CBS news he doesn’t believe the attacks in Paris Friday are a retaliation for the earlier drone strike which is believed to have killed senior ISIS spokesperson ‘Jihadi John’, saying the level of coordination indicates these attacks were planned long-term.”

But perhaps brought forward for maximum symbolic impact?

Note: This post has been moved to my This Is No Cave digest giving a quirky deconstruction of the media’s representation of latest news stories.
